Intersectionality

We are delighted to welcome you to No Time To Step Back as a member of the Founding Cohort, and we hope you enjoy this journey of learning with us. Over time this page will grow with information, ideas and shared learning across the cohort on the subject of intersectionality in women's health. We look forward to you being part of that growth.

Meet the speakers

Keynote

Donna Fraser OBE

Director of People, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Professional Cricketers' Association

Our opening conversation focuses on intersectionality, and Donna brings a perspective shaped by an extraordinary career across elite sport, business, leadership and EDI. A four-time Olympian and former Great Britain 400m sprinter, she spent more than 20 years competing at the highest level, winning medals at European, Commonwealth and World level.

Following her retirement from athletics after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2009, Donna turned adversity into advocacy, becoming a passionate ambassador for Breast Cancer Now. Today she leads on people strategy and EDI education at the Professional Cricketers' Association. Her work has earned her an OBE for services to equality, diversity and inclusion, and she was named World Athletics Woman of the Year in 2022.

Beyond the accolades, Donna brings lived experience, leadership insight and a deep understanding of how the different aspects of our identities and experiences intersect to shape our opportunities, challenges and sense of belonging. From the track to the boardroom, she continues to challenge organisations to think differently and ensure that representation translates into meaningful change.

Nicki Catterick

Nicki is a pharmacist who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 26. She built a successful career in pharma, holding senior leadership roles across global organisations, all while managing a condition most of her colleagues never knew about.

She founded get-inclusive, a consultancy that helps HR directors and leaders close the gap between inclusion policy and everyday practice, building manager confidence, strengthening disclosure culture, and reducing the hidden costs of presenteeism, absenteeism and attrition.

Janet Lindsay

CEO, Wellbeing of Women

Janet is CEO of Wellbeing of Women, a leading charity working to save and improve the lives of women, girls and babies, and to power research breakthroughs in women's health.

She began her career at a global advertising firm before running her own communications agency. Prior to joining Wellbeing of Women, Janet worked for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity and Starlight Children's Foundation in fundraising and communications roles.
